Bursting is a common problem encountered during on-site baking of amorphous prefabricated components (especially large, ultra large, and irregular prefabricated components) and castables. The main reason is that in order to ensure fluidity and material forming, a certain amount of water needs to be added before using castables, etc. Although this water can stably exist inside the material at lower temperatures, it will escape in the form of water vapor as the temperature gradually increases. If the process cannot proceed smoothly, it often leads to structural damage and even catastrophic damage (bursting) of the material, resulting in a shortened service life of refractory materials and causing economic and resource losses.
Our company's explosion-proof fiber products, offered by Suzhou City Hengnai New Material Co., Ltd, have been developed and refined through years of production and application practice. These products effectively reduce the probability of refractory material cracking. The main principle is to add a certain amount of explosion-proof fibers separately or by mixing other explosion-proof agents before mixing materials. During the baking process of pouring materials, the uniformly dispersed organic fibers are heated, shrunk, melted or carbonized, forming fine and narrow pores. This allows the internal water vapor to be quickly released, avoiding the accumulation of large pressure in the pouring body and preventing explosions.
Compared with chemically reactive explosion-proof agents such as ***, the addition of organic fibers does not cause any chemical reactions in the pouring material at low temperatures. This makes the construction process easier to control, with fewer influencing factors and eliminates any potential danger.
